Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

Hopefully. With Wells' plunge back to reality in his last two starts, Looper is the best starter going right now.

I think they've always hit Sheets pretty well, too. They can either do that or wait for Sheets to get injured in the 2nd or 3rd inning.

They probably will if the Cardinals can't get it together.

Anthony Reyes (0-4, 5.73) vs. Chris Capuano (4-0, 3.21) this afternoon.

I guess the good news about this game is I won't have to watch after the first couple of innings, because Reyes will have already allowed 5-6 runs. I can do something more productive with my time.

Well, it's bad news as well. They may be handed their 5th straight loss.

Deja vu. Pujols gets a hit in the 1st inning, and no one else does anything.

Reyes actually looks pretty good so far.

Right calf contusion for Capuano, according to the gamecast.

Much like his last start against Chicago, Reyes went through the lineup the first time with relatively no trouble...

Neat-o.

50% of Carpenter won't be any worse than 100% of Reyes and Wells. Just hope he's ready and not coming back too soon and further damages it.
