It's not the half time speech. It's the half time adjustments that's the problem. Or actually the lack of half time adjustments.

We were in these games during the first half is my point. If we didnt have the players to compete with those teams, we never would have been in these games at all, including the first half. There was more to this than depth and Wilcox. I would also like to add that im on the Sunseri train as well, hopefully Dooley lets him take the reins on the defensive side of the ball.

Dont think Dooley has any choice but to give the reins to CSS his job depends on it.

See some think he's tried to adjust but didn't have the personnel to do so. I'm pretty confident cdd knows how to coach football. Unfortunately his personnel couldn't back up his abilities. I don't understand how people can't understand that regression is a possibility and legit. Its the old adage of "taking a step back to take two forward" sometimes it happens and it turns out better in the long run.

I go back to its funny how people come on here and think they can do a better job than CDD or r better qualified. And yes some of yall come off that way.

Nothing against the players as they try hard but let's be honest they haven't been top SEC caliber. For goodness sake cdd didn't have a QB on the roster that had played at UT or in the sec when he arrived. It baffles me how some think that all it takes is a snap of the fingers and we should win everything just because we r UT and our history.

I've heard 2 different interviews where saban says he considers cdd a good friend and should do well given time. Someone like saban doesn't refer to someone like that if he doesn't mean it. I've also had a run in with a NFL HC at a valet stand months back that referred to him as a good close friend, and hopes we fans give him a chance cause he will do well. I'm not one to bother famous people, and actually didn't realize who he was until after I started talking to him. He was just another guy standing at the booth with his wife that just finished lunch like me. He had a Tennessee jacket on, so of course I started talking to him. Then I got a good look at him and recognized him. And no there are no links to this meeting.

Unlike some I do think cdd can pull it off once he has his plan in place. If he doesn't then I'm wrong, but he hasn't proven to me otherwise. And I'm not going to degrade a guy or think I'm better than him cause he's had a hard time. He hasn't shown to me that he is doing anything to purposely hurt UT, and that is why I give him a chance.

I see glimpses of possibilities. Like playing bama to a 6-6 tie going into half. Then coming out and trying an onside kick. That was a risky call that he knew the upside would have been grand, but he didn't ask the kicker to kick it like a bullet straight out of bounds.

.500 and DD gets fired - just saying ain't no way we win 8.....yep 7-5 sounds about right if DD is lucky and if he is lucky then he will get to stay,...but .500 he could be gone

Completely changing the subject and I apologize for that, but...has anyone watched videos by YouTube's "casualgamerreed"??? That guy HAS to be doing some kinda drugs or something. 3 prediction videos: 2 say yUK will be BCS national champions this year, 1 says UT will STRUGGLE to win 5 games!!! WTF is this guy smoking!? 1st even if we did win 5 games it'd be GSU, Akron, Troy, miss st or Vandy, and yUK. Secondly, he said that yUK would: beat fla by 21 pts IN the puddle, easily beat USC east, get a 21 pt victory AT former Petrino U, a 21 pt victory over the UGA-lies, a 7 pt win AT Mizzou, AND to cap it all off, that they'd beat us IN Neyland to give them a 2-GAME streak!!! 12-0, SEC & National champs, my butt!!! Sorry to rant, but I figured everyone should be notified to begin disliking his videos.
