Official what games to pay attention to thread...

Well, I was looking at my predictions on a game by game basis, and overall I think the bubble will struggle, so overall, I don't expect many teams moving in or out.

The only noteworthy move I see happening is Northwestern losing to Minnesota, dropping out of the field and Tennessee moving up to take their spot.

I actually think the VCU/Drexel game is a big one for all bubble teams. VCU is a much stronger bubble team than Drexel. We want VCU off the bubble and in automatically, leaving one less team to compete with.

Lunardi just said in his chat that he thinks Drexel is the better at-large team. So who knows who to cheer for

Lunardi chat wrap:

He expects Tennessee to go to the NCAA tournament! :dance2:

He said we just need 1 win, while Northwestern will need 2, and Oregon will need to make their championship game.

He also said that South Florida is pretty much a lock. They could lose their first round game and still get in.

Good info!

I'm confused on the Drexel-VCU game tonight, I was under the impression VCU would have the enter case with a loss...

Now lunardi says that though, WTF!!'

I need to know who im rooting for.

Drexel RPI is 63 iirc, a loss puts them around 70 I'd guess. That seems like a hard stretch for them to get in with that high of a RPI.

What is VCUs RPI?

I'm torn here too

VCU RT @Ricky_Allison: as a fan of a bubble team who should we cheer for tonight in the Drexel VCU game?

I don't think either gets an auto with the loss, which is why I said not a huge impact on Tennessee in this one in my OP.

I'm rooting for VCU though.

I feel Drexel has no chance at an at large with a loss, but I feel VCU still has a sliver.

A loss would most likely do either in for the season

we're probably really looking at a game whose effect is a wash either way

That's my thoughts

BUT if the bubble teams imploded I think VCU would have the better shot of an at large than Drexel.

Therefore I'm rooting for VCU

I would think VCU stands a better chance of getting an at large. But this is pretty much a de facto home game and VCU is looking good early.

Their losing tonight though wouldn't factor in to a moving ahead of TN unless Tennessee just 1 and done's in the their tourney

A loss here hurts them most likely the same as it did the teams that lost yesterday or would any of the bubble teams

Bubbles imploding though you probably need to worry more about the last four in and up teams

They're talking at halftime about Drexel should (not sure how strongly though; it's only a slight debate at the moment) get in with a loss

So is it better for us if VCU wins or Drexel? My thinking is if VCU loses they are probably out, but if they win would Drexel get an at-large?
