I hear ya. I get tired of people saying TN fans need to donate for NIL causes. If that’s the case and we need $$, then tell us. We are a top fan base who brought 35k to Columbus. Personally, I think we need more donors with deep pockets.I mean they’re literally charging a 10% talent fee on sales now. You’re hard pressed to find tickets under $100 for the crappy games and now they’re making them more expensive. I’m not complaining, but it probably wouldn’t be the best of looks for him if he then turns around and starts begging for cash.
Agree. They have to be ready for a lot of people being “offended” that he would ask for money. Im a little tired of the donation plate myself. All this started because the NCAA and schools wouldn’t give the guys a few bucks a month or Even let them get a part time job.
So Heard can’t improve at all? A former 5* just can’t improve? He improved as the season went on. I don’t understand why some think Heard sucks. Also what does the 2024 PFF grade have to do with this year? Oh that’s right nothing.why do you think heard will be good next year? PFF grade of 44.9 on the 24' season is lackluster to say the least
What development from Elarbee has you so confident that one of the worst left tackles in the SEC will just magically improve in one offseason? So Heard can’t improve at all? Those contracts will have to be approved by a committee that is being set up for just those situations. They're going to go by a fair market value that will be set. It's not gonna change anything. Collectives will still exist. Top players will still get offered exorbitant deals from school boosters.
That's it. They have to be "legitimate" deals. It lends itself to bending of the rules. Those contracts will have to be approved by a committee that is being set up for just those situations. They're going to go by a fair market value that will be set.
If anything, it will drive the money back under the table

This.Again, no ruling will ever be passed that limits an athletes earning potential. NIL deals cannot have a limit. It's all protected by the Sherman Antitrust Act.
The most you might see is that schools can't have official partnerships with collectives. But that doesn't prevent the collective from signing whatever athlete they want and paying them whatever amount they want.
