So how many of you who are saying this is a crazy prediction had VT beating OSU? Or had McNeese State almost beating Nebraska? How many of you predicted Temple to thump Vandy last week? Answer, none of you.

Any given Saturday.

Former Alabama QB & now SEC Network Analyst Greg McElroy "I'm putting Oklahoma on UPSET ALERT. Tennessee is a team that believes & is better on defense. I haven't seen enough from Trevor Knight to believe he is the real deal."

Obviously, he's been smoking a lot of crack.

Well holy shiz don't warn them about us! Just like everyone and their momma did us about Utah St. Figures from a former bammer.

Why not? When I tune in next Saturday that is what I want to see. We have nothing to lose and the team may be too young to know better. The players and coaches aren't going in there without a plan to win.

VT beating OSU wasn't all that crazy, OSU had no business in the top 15 after miller went down. I will agree that anything could happen but the likely hood isnt very high. Sounds like Greg is still a little butt hurt from that raping OU put on bama and his life partner saban back in January

Someone should have said rebutted...

"He sure looked like the real deal when Alabama was getting that ass waxed last season Greg"

Nothing made me happier last bowl season than the Oklahoma win but maybe we should get over our inferiority complex. We are young but we have players as talented as theirs. We won't be outmatched physically. Our young defense may get schemed into some errors and give up some big plays and I am sure our o-line will not keep Worley completely clean. If we lose so be it but Oklahoma would love to have North, Hurd, Kelly, Sutton, etc on their team. Oklahoma knows how to win and hopefully we are learning.

Anything can happen in college football & I believe the University of Tennessee is capable of beating anyone on any given day in any sport. However, to be realistic I believe Oklahoma will be a monumental challenge & a great opportunity for our gridiron Vols to get better.

Butch, is that you??

Sorry but VT beating OSU was a HUGE upset. We have a 50/50 chance at beating OU.

I'm happy with the first two wins but if Tennessee can't put up at least 170 yards on the ground this game wont even be close.

A 50% chance? Come on now its more like 15% chance, you're gonna get your hopes way up only to crash down and you'll be one of the many we need to fire CBJ Saturday night cause your feelings got hurt. I hope we do win, but this team is young and the offensive line has a longgggg way to go so my expectations are still 5-7 wins.

Hey Vols. Watched parts of your game against Ark. St. Not great, but you can tell the potential is there. If you can string together a couple of Bowl games the next few years, I think your program will be floating to the upper tiers of the SEC. For those of you that weren't able to catch any of the Oklahoma game, I'll post highlights later for anyone interested. So far, this is the only one that has made it to YouTube.
