You'll be pleased that I just googled "Tennessee bunt gif" in an effort to be troublesome, but the results all look like this:

Small ball has it's place. Moving runners into scoring position with a well placed bunt or hitting behind a runner....ain't nuthin wrong with that. That's a beautiful part of the game.

OT's comments in that thread were exactly what the baseball forum was for many years. Old Timer is one of several people that made it such.

OT's last post (according to VN) was on Jun 15, 2024. Like the rest of you, I miss him. Anxious to find out what happened.

We need to be proficient at it, like when we are tied in the bottom of the last and batters away from our power guys against a great pitcher. Especially with some speed guys now at our disposal. It is a PART of the game. I still celebrate sac fly or passed ball wins after “getting a guy over.” Just don’t have to reach to that side of the quiver routinely.

Yep, but the big problem with the Colonel is that it's way, way too drinkable.

Michters 10 is better than Van Winkle 10 and 12. Not a slight at Winkle, I like those as well.

Agree on the 10. The 12, I like alot. The 15 year old is really were the fun begins though.

That ‘21 season was so much fun and one that I will always remember, and a big part of it is because of you guys.
Every single game, I felt like we were all sitting at a bar together, having our favorite drinks while watching the game, rather than posting on a message board.
One thing that makes my heart happy it’s the fact that every time anyone clicks on the Dugout, in the baseball forums, they see OldTimers avi!
