We've been through this before. The excuse for Dooley was "we don't have the talent because Hunter and Bray got hurt". Now the excuse for Butch is "we don't have the talent because Dooley was a bad coach."

We need to start holding coaches accountable for putting a competitive team on the field!

Blame Dooley for sucking when you had two NFL WR's and an NFL QB. Our fans suck, and that is what I am tired of.

Patience is getting very thin around here brotha, we've wated 4 freakin years! You keep accepting and rooting on mediocrity! Some of us have ball z and demand more...

No one is asking this staff to make us into a juggernaut in year 1, we are just asking not to be blown the F out at home to a one dimensional Auburn team that won ZERO games in conference last year.

I will say this: some of the O line positions need to be opened back up for competition... if not all O line positions.

And as we've seen for the past 2-3 years the secondary has regressed as the season has gone on.

Jones hasn't been here for 4 years so that argument is null and void. I don't accept mediocrity but I do accept truth and reality and reality is that this team is very short on talent. As far as the ball z or whatever, you'll have to at least use the English language if you want to try and make a point.

Don't know what to tell you, they hired a coach who was previously there and was playing with his recruits. And they could afford to be one dimensional because they were playing against a team who doesn't have the talent to stop the run. None of us are happy with a loss.

If you believe that getting a few extra "star" points makes an 85 man team go from 2 SEC wins to 8 SEC wins then you are delusional.

I'm not a football coach so I don't know what he can do. But I have eyeballs and I watch football and I can tell you that either you can coach a team up or not. He is not and recruits do not change that.

This is the problem. Dooley's three year debacle is not Jones' fault. This line if thinking is silly.

If you think you can compete in the SEC with our nickel backs as walk-ons, then something is wrong. One recruiting class absolutely can help this program.

Good coaching gives less talented teams chances to win. Otherwise, there wouldn't be people called "coaches", there would just be people called "recruiters".

Good coaching gives less talented teams chances to win late in games. I have seen two chances at that, GA and SC. The other games- hell no.
