Peterman definitely looked like the better man between him and Worley tonight. He extended plays with his feet, and made some great throws downfield deep. I also believe he has a stronger arm compared to Worley.

Dobbs showed flashes tonight, and showed why he has such high expectations set for himself. He made an excellent touchdown throw down the sideline to Bowles, and showed good speed and scrambling ability. Worley may start, but I don't expect it to be for very long.

So, judging by today's practice, our offense isn't very good and our defense is decent. Worley is not consistent, Lane is hurt, and our best freshman OL is hurt.

Stayed through the rain and it was worth it to see the Big Orange! Peterman outplayed Worley, Lane was on the sideline stretching, young QBs looked promising but green, and I believe our defense will be much better. Oline and running game looked good/decent. I am just ready for the opener! Go Big Orange!

Temper your expectations.

Any combo of QB and WRs is awful.

Will need a flat out awesome running game to meet expectations.

What expectations? I've said all along 5-7 and we would be lucky to win 6. Our QB play will look like Crompton/Stephens pre-Kiffin

By the way, not trying to bash Worley at all. I'd love to see him succeed here, but I just don't see it. He looks average at best. I know it's only practice, but nothing stands out about his QB play.

Peterman, Dobbs, and even Ferguson have all shown potential to be great. Peterman and Dobbs both extend plays when the throw isn't there, and with our young recievers, I feel like that could be a difference maker for this offense.

If the coaches give Worley the job then he has my support entirely because it's their call, and I have faith that they'll make the best decision. That being said, I don't see Worley keeping the QB job all season long unless he shows a great amount of improvement.

This is my take away as well. I've yet to be impressed with anything I've seen from Worley. Reminds me very much of Crompton the way he stares down his targets. Peterman at least has a better pocket presence and mobility which extends plays. Dobbs made a really good deep throw for a TD late in practice. And there's been positive hype regarding Ferguson. Just not buying into Worley being the answer unless the coaches are seeing something I'm not.

I'm pulling for Peterman. I really like his potential.
