Our coaches hit the road today evaluating prospects....

Not sure, but those game stories were run in the NFL section of every major newspaper in the country, as opposed to the crayon written weekly rags for inbreds that ran news of what Dooley was doing in Ruston.

So is inbred just your default insult for any part of the country you don't like? 'Cause you're 2/2 in the last half hour. Really masterful polemic, that.

I was a little kid when Bill Battle was here,, Are you old enough to know Bill Battle? I faintly remember Bill Battle being a 'solid' coach. Tell me you have a better opinion of Dooley than Bill Battle

Well Battle and Dooley were both waterboys for coaches that won a National Championship at Alabama

I remember Alabama getting bulldozed at home for several years by the likes of UT and Auburn, but those 5 star players were still knocking at Bamas door every year.
Yeah, Alabama was really loaded when they were losing to the Northern Illinois of the world.

Hopefully for no more than three years.

I love how you have already made up your mind about this guy and he hasn't even coached a game here. There isn't even enough evidence to form a valid opinion, yet you are certain he is going to fail.

I wish I had your clairvoyance, hat. I could make a ton during football season.

You forget that your savior was only 7-6 last year with a bowl loss.

So you hope he doesn't succeed?
I'm 100% certain he's going to fail. Thus, I am preemptively hoping the athletic department keeps the suffering to a minimum. Dooley's tenure will be to Tennessee history what John Blake's was to OU's.

Yeah, and Matt Leinhart can't beat out a guy that was bagging groceries at one point in his life.

Eli Manning and Trent Green had a little trouble there, too. Joe Montana also had trouble throwing for more Super Bowl yards even with an extra game to do it.

I forgot you are always right.

So Kiffin's O at USC was successful despite Leinhart not being a better QB than the local bag boy at Kroger.

Point: Kiffin

What??? That's a huge knock on his "so-called" ability to develop pro QBs. In fact, the 2 most successful QBs in the NFL right now from USC have not been coached by Kiffin on offense.

don't agree with this.

DoolTabby will be find.

Well, if he recruits a team that wins a national title a couple years after he's gone, that might not be so bad.
