'17 PA CB Lamont Wade

Uh..........5'8'-5'11" inch corners & safeties play in college all the time making plays in the secondary for a many teams.

It's not necessarily the height. It's the fight & skillset of the DB. How tall is Cam Sutton? Not very tall either but look how solid of a CB he has become at UT. Thanks!

I don't want a 5'8 safety unless he's an athletic freak. Just me personally.

FYI: I'm a fan of Sutton so why even bring him up. When everyone else doubted him I didn't. So you can kill that noise.

I brought him up because you bought up shorter people trying to play safety/corner. What's wrong with that? Not a single thing.

I hope he recovers quickly though from his injury. We will miss him badly that's for sure. Thanks!

His height is why I mentioned Bob Sanders. He was 5'8" but also an elite athlete who played like he was the biggest man on the field. If you never saw him play them check out some highlights from his college and pro career. Elite athletes are able to overcome these perceived shortcomings in stature. I don't think he is an elite corner at the next level, but that isn't due to his height. But he is definitely an elite athlete and football player.

Colts fan here. Loved Bob Sanders. His body just couldn't hold up long term to the physicality he played with.

Well he seems to be the same height as Amari Cooper. Remember how much taller Cooper looked than VH3 but he was the same height as Sutton.

Can we all just agree to refrain from calling our own players garbage? If they're not giving effort, please call them out on that. But, these are our guys. You should not call them garbage.
