Osu's #s crunch is very real. Of course I don't know for sure what the osu staff's pecking order at CB is, I only know what I read.

TIFWIW but there was an interview with wade a while back where he mentioned his concern about getting an EE spot at osu.

No. Are you saying that since urb doesn't likely give info to fan sites that those sites don't have other good sources?

Does tenn's HC make a habit of giving info to their fan sites? If not, are you saying they couldn't have any other accurate sources?

I'm really not sure what you are fishing for here.....

Could urb have pressured him to commit? Sure. But it doesn't fit with the prior year plus of the kid's recruitment. But now one random poster on a tenn fan site says it happens and people believe it? doesnt make tons of sense IMO.

I'm not fishing for anything. I just thought it amusing that as soon as someone on VN had a negative comment on urb then here comes an OSU fan to tell us that the OSU sites say it isn't true. Whether itvis or not I don't care. I also do not care if you believe what a "random poster" said. There has been enough documented evidence from recruits and even an OSU commit, now decommitted, that at the very least brings some of the things urb has done into question.

You may be a decent poster for all I know, but you are an OSU fan and I despise OSU fans. I visited one of your boards several years ago during the Von Bell recruitment and tried to ask a few question and with the exception of one or two posters I was treated like a leper. I'm quite sure you are treated much bet here than I was there.

Osu would love to have him of course, but I'm telling you Amir Riep is the guy osu wants (that they have a chance to get).

Meh, I dip in here from time to time to see what folks are saying from the tenn sites about prospects that both schools are recruiting. I didn't defend urb by any means, I simply said that 0 osu sites are reporting that, so I would assume it isn't true. No biggie.

And just like any school, there are morons on message boards. I would argue that it's a very high % on all fan sites.

Oh, and are you really going to the Bruce judson's name take? What exactly does that "bring into question" about urb, his memory perhaps?

He works the mid-atlantic area for Rivals so I would imagine he has his finger on the pulse of recruiting more so than random message board posters.

I don't know anything about the "Bruce Judson's name take", whatever the hell that even means. But Urb has a history going back to UF. But you are correct. No 'biggie'.

If Holmes ends up at osu, I'll eat my shoe! Lol

Just not happening. If he was very clued-in to osu CB recruiting, he wouldn't leave out the Ohio guy that osu wants.
