Pacman Jones

Las Vegas officials have issued 2 felony charges against the P-man for coercion. Not a law man so not sure how serious this is.

After conferring with lawmen, I am told that if there was something substantial, charges probably would have been filed earlier.

Or it could be they didn't want to do sloppy work that would get torn apart and thus took their time to get things correct.

Possibly, but it's not like a case goes to trial immediately after charges are filed. If noteworthy evidence was found, they could have filed charges immediately and still had time to do a thorough investigation, I think. Then again, this isn't really my area of expertise.

They took their time in filing charges because they first wanted to conduct a thorough investigation to see if they could tie Pacman to the actual shooting. Once they determined that they didn't have enough evidence to link him to the shooting, they moved forward in filing these lesser charges.

If Williamson County police are involved, I'm pulling for the other side.

Don't let anyone ever call you inconsistent. I think you're now pulling against about 10 to 12 police forces across the nation. Let me ask you a question, kptvol. If you were in Pacman Jones' situation, wouldn't you make sure that you did absolutely NOTHING that was against the law?

These items are petty offenses, but they're just further proof that this idiot is too stupid to get the message.

The Williamson County is the only police department in the entire nation I would pull against (except maybe some campus police forces). Strangely enough, I've been pulled over for absolutely no reason by one of their officers.

I definitely wouldn't drive an orange lambo with the wrong plates in a county where they are looking for me to mess up

Seconded...I grew up in Nashville and Williamson County Police were pretty notorious for harassing people just for the fun of it.
