the only thing i have any patience for in my entire life right now is my daughter. good bad or indifferent.
that said, she's only 13 months and still cute when she acts up.
when she gets to 3 or 4 we'll deal with this kind of stuff then......for now, she can do no wrong.
I was at a Hooters in Va Beach...
This brings up another issue that drives me crazy. I was at a bar here in Knoxville Monday evening and I get up there and some woman had her kid sitting right up at the bar just ranting and being talkative and carrying on.
I leave work and want to relax with a beer/Wild Turkey 101. The last thing I need is for some snot nosed kid running his mouth and making a scene. If I wanted to here somebody immature just running their mouths and talking about nothing, I could drink at my girlfriend's house.

My kid is turning three this weekend. The cuteness factor doesn't appear to go away, I'm hoping for around 13-14. Sometimes I cant discipline my kid without turning around and smiling.
My wife and I have the same problem. Sometimes the "bad thing" they are doing is so off the wall you have to fight back laughter or their reaction to your smack on the butt is so over the top!
What about the poor workers who have to listen to that all day long? (former Wal-Mart cashier)True to an extent. Removing them from public can reinforce bad habits too. If you are eating out for example, yes remove them. If you are in a grocery store you can ignore the behavior (you are not ruining a meal someone paid for) and then discipline. That way they learn the rules for public behavior and don't learn they can make Mommy or Daddy take them away from a place they don't want to be right then. There is no one right way, like I said earlier you walk a thin line.
It isn't... same with WIC vouchers. My point is, screaming kids with parents just ignoring them and going about their business just heaps on top of those. It can't possibly be worse than the people with the EBT cards that try to argue they were over charged for a bag of apples. (happened in the line in front of me Sunday)
I'm not telling anyone how to parent. I know I'm in for it when I have some critters because of the hell I gave my parents. I was simply saying if the screaming gets to the point where it's ridiclious..... take them outside.
