Pats Stealing Signals?

Rules are promulgated to keep those cowardly enough to follow them in line. I like the fact Belichick openly spit in Goodell's face. The great thing is, the League rules don't allow Impotent Roger to exert any meaningful punishment.

hat, it ultimately boils down to this:

Belichick sucked at cheating enough to get caught by the league. Do you think a fitting and meaningful punishment should be dealt, or not?

I didn't know Hat played for the Patriots, Finevol. Whenever he decides to call out my team or city, I'll respond everytime.

You must be a heck of a guy to play poker with.

The Toilers won Sunday. Cherish it. They won't win again until the month of October.

That's garbage.

A certain Jesse Ventura quote is coming to mind right now. :p

Sorry I haven't posted here earlier. The hooker that I have tied up in my meth lab was giving me a little lip.

Nothing to cherish here. The Pats are a damned good franchise, and as long as they don't get caught being aided in any measure by an illegitimate means, they deserve every win they get.

Judges interpret laws. I consider it my job to find ways to obfuscate and circumvent them.

Question: What teams do you follow loyally? I think you are a Reds fan but what teams do you like through thick and thin?

It appears you only have positive things to say for team that are currently winning (Patriots, Belichick) but omit when one was a garbage franchise for most of its history and one fired at his first coaching stop.

GA, are you thinking of the classic, "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat."?

The only thing i find disturbing here is that the pats are stupid enough to have a guy in pats clothing obviously filming the signals on the sideline. Why not put him in a luxury box or in the stands?

I'm a Bengals fan. I also would probably be considered a fairly diehard Raider fan. Therefore, I'm eminently qualified to discuss garbage football.

Even the greatest winners out there have their moments of pure ineptitude.

Gainesville is one of the SEC trips I never even consider making. Lousy town, even lousier people.

The only thing that matters in the NFL is your record. If the opposition is careless enough to have their signals stolen, that's their problem. Belichick moves up several notches in my eyes with these actions.
he drops several more in my mind. i'm all for competitive advantage, but there is a line. he crossed it.

and stealing signs is one thing. it's already been said about baseball and GAVol brought up the stills they review after each series, so they get a pretty good idea anyway of tendencies etc....but lip reading and video taping are two different things imo. Hell, we were accused of stealing Cal's signs last year in knoxville. and in that kind of setting where it's obvious to the naked eye and you figure it out...kudos, more power to you. then it is on the opposing team to just do better.

but this is pretty blatent. I for one hopes RG comes down as hard as he can on the pats.

of course, i'm a steeler fan. i hate the pats. bad for them, good for me.
Correct. The reality of the situation is that there are 27 other coaches around the league thinking to themselves: "Why didn't I think of that?"
that's probably true, and there probably are others out there that are doing it but haven't been caught yet.
The idea that New England should forfeit their victory Sunday is the single most asinine assertion I've heard in a long, long time.
they wont' willfully forfeit anything.
