Watched it several times, it's impossible to tell who opened the door, it's like the door swung open itself.

If it was a home invasion, why didn't Pelosi just run out the door immediately to the Police?

I think we've got dementia, alcohol, and weird dudes all intersecting. Nothing makes sense.

Update: Police Say Only Two People in Paul Pelosi's Residence at Time of Assault

"An unidentified person let law enforcement into Paul Pelosi’s home the morning an intruder broke in and attacked Pelosi with a hammer, according to San Francisco Police Department Chief Bill Scott.

Scott explained that when law enforcement arrived at the Pelosi residence, “the door was opened by someone inside,” but he did not provide the identity of the person who opened the door."

"While the DOJ claimed in an indictment filed on November 9 that the officers opened the door themselves, body-cam footage viewed by the San Francisco district attorney’s office confirms that it was Pelosi who let them into the home, a source who personally viewed the footage told the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit."


I still cannot tell from the video who opened the door unless Pelosi was able open the door while holding the hammer.

Who did open the door? It looks like it opened on it's own.

It looked like the attacker opened the door. I think he was switching hands on the hammer as it opened. That was a nasty shot Mr. Pelosi received.
