Update: Police Say Only Two People in Paul Pelosi's Residence at Time of Assault

"An unidentified person let law enforcement into Paul Pelosi’s home the morning an intruder broke in and attacked Pelosi with a hammer, according to San Francisco Police Department Chief Bill Scott.

Scott explained that when law enforcement arrived at the Pelosi residence, “the door was opened by someone inside,” but he did not provide the identity of the person who opened the door."

I still cannot tell from the video who opened the door unless Pelosi was able open the door while holding the hammer.

This is awesome. Two videos released that support both narratives. One showing dude obviously breaking into the house. The other showing pelosi in his underwear with a drink in his hand laughing with the guy who broke in.

The break in video shows 5:10 a.m. The time at the Capitol police headquarters in DC. The body cam footage shows something like 9:31z... which i believe is Zulu or Greenwich mean time. I didn't see PM on anything.

Edit: I didn't see 10:26 on anything either.

Sounded a bit like he tried to call the Capitol Police, and was surprised he got SF Dispatch. May have called a contact in his phone for police instead of dialing 911.

It took the patrolmen 8 minutes to get there. That seems like a pretty reasonable response time, all things considered. It’s also plenty of time for an irate crazy dude to murder an 80 year old man with a hammer and leave. Trying to keep the guy calm seems like a sound strategy.
