Pay the manTony V.

Jimmy Sexton will get the man paid. Question is, who will be paying?
I hate Jimmy Sexton. What a crook he is . TV deserves to be the top paid coach in college baseball just because of two out of three regular season sec titles. That may be more impressive than winning the CWS. He is worth every single dollar they pay him

Don’t hate on JSexton due to @Scottt5. Sports agents in general? Sure.

Sorry, but he is not a crook. He is just good at his job, which is to get opportunities for his clients and get them paid.

Sports agents pad their pockets as well. Sexton wants his cut to be big as well don't act like he cares about his clients.

What a ridiculous premise. Of course he wants his clients to get paid. So doctors don't care about their patients because they also like getting paid? Interior designers don't care about their client's satisfaction because they like getting paid.

Jimmy Sexton (like all agents) has a job to do, and that job is to best represent his clients interest. Why? Because it leads to other clients wanting him to represent their best interests when he does a good job. And does he get paid well to do a good job? Of course he does. Welcome to capitalism. Acting like that is solely a self-serving idea is cynical to the highest degree. We all do our jobs hoping we are recognized for our efforts and compensated for our worth. Sexton is no different in that.

Well said!

VQ tonight said it’s likely a TV contract extension is publicly announced this week.
Did they announce Schloss's contract terms at Texas yet? I don't think it's unreasonable to at least match that number plus a buck or several. Don't know what coaches make elsewhere, but I don't think it's unreasonable to make Vitello the highest paid college baseball coach in the country. It's not as if this was a one-off season. Guy has consistently been successful and makes getting to Omaha look way easier than it really is.
