This makes a lot of sense…both ways.

But, we have to expect that Elander will eventually be hired away as a head coach somewhere. And we should be happy for him when that happens.

It's ironic how Texas A&M fans as well as other SEC fans trash talked Vitello, think he has a big ego and would be perfect for hated rival Texas, and griped about Schloss as a classy coach and deserving a championship over Vitello. Also, on and on about how Vitello was "difficult" at A&M with Schloss and maybe not having the smoothest relationship.always being seen as a slight towards Vitello.

BUT, it's Vitello who spoke about the importance of loyalty throughout the season and even in yesterday's postgame conference. And it's Vitello who is loyal to the program he built and Schloss who is the snake and goes to his rival's job and lets it be a distraction the day of the National Championship.

In all seriousness, I saw it being reported on Texas message boards from some of their “insiders” it was a done deal so just brought that in for back here.

Can’t believe Schloss had the audacity to basically say he is never leaving TAMU and then leave 18 hours later lol.

Won’t be soon. But it will happen. Brent Hubbs has said things have gone back to the drawing board following the title win and TV is focused on recruiting the portal right now.

Hubbs said it will get done, just not quickly. He mentioned that the contract incentive for Kim Caldwell that makes her the highest paid coach in WBB if she wins a title is something TV’s agent has “flagged” for our AD.

Id flag it too.

I understand what he was trying to do with Caldwell but you really box yourself in with other coaches.

rightfully so, TV deserves to be the highest paid coach in baseball.. no question
