Pearl to Iowa??

Call it how you wanna call it broheim, doesn't matter to me. I'm not racist. All I know is you were probably drooling over Stan Heath and it turned out he sucks.

I don't ever recall anyone drooling over Stan Heath. Arky did out of necessity.

But he disnt say Jack about it when you asked for names. You brought up in when you realized the list of names would be substantial.

Substantial? I've only seen one name. Mike Anderson. Yep, that's sure-fire greatness right there.

If it's a net wash now, what would it be if Jerry Green was the coach? :eek:lol: Come on man. You're smarter than this.

Don't be silly. We wouldn't have made the investment in Green. Had he won commensurate with the talent, we might have. At this point we have made that commitment and you are massively overstating the delta in gate take.

I believe I have been pretty stuck on Mike Anderson for a while actually. Probably doesn't have anything to do with his tenure at UAB or inheriting the crap that Quinn Snyder left behind and taking it to the Elite Eight though.

Tourney results are overrated. January is the meal ticket.

Possibly. I don't know what the average face of all tickets would be, but at 7,000-8,000 more sold per game, I'd guess at minimum 2-3 extra million per year, just at the gate.

Emain helped you with a link. Comparing it to Houston you'd get a big spread. Otherwise, not so much. All of your VASF literature will give you a good idea of the profitability of the programs. Oh, wait...

That's fine. I know you did that. It still doesn't make one name a "substantial list" or a "list" at all actually.

You didn't ask for a list, you asked for another ONE.

Would you like me to explain the concept of the number one to you? Sit down and turn off the spy cam, this could take awhile knowing you.

Bro has to sleep with one eye open and slurp with one hand on the mouse. Ich.

Uhm I mentioned attendance at the very beginning. I don't know what your criteria for paying someone 3 mil a year is, but if I was doing the hiring it sure wouldn't be someone that can't get more than 6000 people in TBA.

Okay, and our side conversation was about making it to the Sweet 16, not attendance.

You would be surprised.

1990 - 17355
1991 - 16394
1992 - 16173
1993 - 15367
Then 1994 was the lowest year by far in the Houston era at 13000

I understand that actual attendance was probably lower, but this would be calculated based on ticket sales.
