Pelosi visit to Taiwan

Putin’s days of dictating anything outside Russian borders have been over for years.
Putin has an economy that is remaining resilient after Western sanctions and is running record profits. If your president or any of the other leaders in the West can show the same success over the last 12 months, let me know. Otherwise, you don't have a motherf**king word to say right now. Keep piling on sanctions and sending more money to that rat hole in Ukraine.

You sound a little butthurt and completely wrong.

Don't worry about Putin. Your azz needs to worry about Biden and the rest of these clowns in NATO.
No ****, Dick Tracy. Anyone who puts their faith in a politician is delusional. I don’t worry about Putin because he’s going to get shanked by one of his own sooner or later.

Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen quits as party chair after local elections

Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen has resigned as head of the governing Democratic Progressive Party after its poor showing in local elections.

The opposition Kuomintang (KMT) won several major races on Saturday, including in the capital Taipei.

The vote has drawn global attention as Taiwan becomes a bigger geopolitical flashpoint between China and the US.

President Tsai had framed the election as a vote for democracy amid rising tensions with China.

The Kuomitang is back in power? That's kinda ironic with a pending war vs the PRC coming.

Yeah, Biden sending money Ukraine like he owes someone a favor

The United States doing what the United States does best. Get people killed for no reason. Eventually the remaining stupid white nations will figure out exactly what the United States is doing, and its going to be the world against the United States.

The globalists like this, it helps lower the population

GDamn... these aholes only think about escalating war and setting fires all over the place.

Josh Hawley Is Imploring White House To Prioritize Arming Taiwan Over Ukraine | ZeroHedge

"Seizing Taiwan is Beijing’s next step toward dominating the Indo-Pacific region," Sen. Hawley argued in the letter. "If Beijing succeeds, it would have dire ramifications for Americans’ national security, as well as our economic security and freedom of action."

WTF?? Economic security and freedom of action? You mean freedom to stir up s^^t across the globe and cling on to their hegemony?

May as well let Biden and Bolton run the country at this point. Bring back Hillary while we're at it.

Our FP is a cluster****. We sell arms to Taiwan, sell out to CCP battery companies, massive trade imbalances, outsource critical industries, while spending trillions on defense to counter the very nation we are supporting. Insanity.

So you're saying we should step aside for PRC to conquer a very longstanding and staunch US ally? Think of the long term ramifications.

How long have China and Taiwan been separate nations? Does it ever occur to you that much of this talk about China taking over Taiwan might be fearmongering?

WTF would be the ramifications?
To start with it would really strengthen the PRC, whose aim it is to dominate the West. They're still pissed about the Opium Wars and the whole colonialism thing, not that I blame them.
We'd lose a very strategic trading partner.
It would also really further damage our credibility re alliances.

Since the end of WWII.
Not at all, China has made clear what they want.

They have their hands full with controlling the 1.3 billion they have on their own soil.

Look at what they've done re expansion in the last 20 years. They can certainly walk and chew gum, or suppress dissent and expand militarily, at the same time.

Thank the US for giving them favored trading nation status.

We should spend those resources and efforts rebuilding our own domestic economy rather than warmongering halfway across the globe.

Then why didn't they take it while we were involved in Vietnam? That seems like it would have been the perfect opportunity for them to do so.

PRiC China had to wait until we sent all our manufacturing there to build a military capable of causing real havoc. We funded their new military.

Seems like the CCP's new Covid lockdowns aren't a real hit. Guess they should have thought about the implications, possibilities, and potential outcomes before playing Frankenstein in a viral lab; of course, they may have and it didn't go as anticipated.

Again... this is a self-inflicted wound by pizz poor leadership. Why is the answer to stir up war?
