Just read they are taking Paterno's name off of the Big Ten trophy they intend to give out annually to the conference champion. Was going to be the Stagg-Paterno trophy. Stagg was a coach well back and one of founding commissioners.

A bit of overkill, piling on, etc., if you ask me.

I think justified. Would just rip the scab off the wound every time the trophy was mentioned IMO but that's just me

Colts Jim Caldwell was reported by multiple outlets as being Sandusky's 'Asssociate Head Coach' had Sandusky taken UVA job. Not conjecture.

The scope of how far and wide this could reach could really rock the entire sports community. I also don't care if coaches on nfl teams, players, community leaders, politicians, or judges are involved. If they knew about child molestation and did nothing then they should have to pay the consequences as well...I hope to God there doesn't come out anything about them being participants or it could get really ugly for the sports world.

I saw some video of Sandusky being interviewed by a reporter outside his house, saying lawyers says he can't discuss it.

Looked like he was wearing a Penn State windbreaker, which would cause me if I were associated with that school to want to sue him to make him never wear or say a word connecting him to my school.

Tom Rinaldi has said a source close to the situation is saying that asst. coach Mike McQueary did stop the alleged incident with a boy and Sandusky in the shower in 2002. On the ESPN bottom line, breaking news portion.

Feel better about it now but he still should have followed up and gone to police

With all the cover up going on he probably figured all that would come from him going to the police was himself losing his job. I could easily see someone feeling that way with this situation.
