Probably. But how would that prove that the defense has identified the same alleged victim that McQueary allegedly saw?

I don't think it would be that difficult for the defense to find one of the kids, who could fit the age description, that Sandusky was never inappropriate with. Still wouldnt prove either way if that found alleged victim by the defense is the same one McQueary saw.

I'm sure the defense will march out a bunch of kids that he didn't rape and ones that were actually helped by the charity. But, all the prosecution will need will be one that says he did abuse him and it will be all over. I expect that to be the kid in 2008.

No link because this was a discussion on the talk radio out of Harrisburg yesterday but found it interesting. They had a lawyer on who they asked why in the world Sandusky's lawyer would let him give an interview. The lawyer said he would not have allowed it and speculated the only thing he could see is that it would set them up for the "Crazy Uncle" sort of defense. In other words, they want to paint the picture that Sandusky is this eccentric old guy who loves kids and acts kind of weird around them but not in any sort of sexual way. You know, just one of those crazy Uncles who are a bit odd but harmless.

It is an interesting take and one that I could see having an effect here in central PA. Of course if one of the victims says, "Yeah, that is what I thought too, until he put my schlong in his mouth." then of course that defense will fail.

JoPa started shielding assets from lawsuits back in July. Guess this didn't catch him by surprise.

Lawrence A. Frolik, a law professor at the University of Pittsburgh who specializes in elder law, said that he had “never heard” of a husband selling his share of a house for $1 to his spouse for tax or government assistance purposes.

“I can’t see any tax advantages,” Frolik said. “If someone told me that, my reaction would be, ‘Are they hoping to shield assets in case if there’s personal liability?’ ” He added, “It sounds like an attempt to avoid personal liability in having assets in his wife’s name.”

A little more from Mcqueary's email. Claims he didn't stop it physically but made sure it was stopped. Also says he went to police

McQueary says he did go to police about Sandusky - US news - Crime & courts - msnbc.com

I'm confused. The guy says he didn't stop it physically but it was stopped before he left the locker room. Who's to say they didn't just continue where they left off? He obviously lied to the friend about contacting the police then or the report is wrong. This guy is just freaking out because of the anger directed towards his way for not doing enough.

Didn't see this posted in this thread. MUST READ.

Bonus: column includes a Darwinian reference.

Charles P. Pierce on the brutal truth about the crimes at Penn State - Grantland

There will now be a decade or more of criminal trials, and perhaps a quarter-century or more of civil actions, as a result of what went on at Penn State. These things cannot be prayed away. Let us hear nothing about "closure" or about "moving on." And God help us, let us not hear a single mumbling word about how football can help the university "heal." (Lord, let the Alamo Bowl be an instrument of your peace.) This wound should be left open and gaping and raw until the very last of the children that Jerry Sandusky is accused of raping somehow gets whatever modicum of peace and retribution can possibly be granted to him. This wound should be left open and gaping and raw in the bright sunlight where everybody can see it, for years and years and years, until the raped children themselves decide that justice has been done. When they're done healing — if they're ever done healing — then they and their families can give Penn State permission to start.

If that blights Joe Paterno's declining years, that's too bad. If that takes a chunk out of the endowment, hold a damn bake sale. If that means that Penn State spends some time being known as the university where a child got raped, that's what happens when you're a university where a child got raped. Any sympathy for this institution went down the drain in the shower room in the Lasch Building. There's nothing that can happen to the university, or to the people sunk up to their eyeballs in this incredible moral quagmire, that's worse than what happened to the children who got raped at Penn State. Good Lord, people, get up off your knees and get over yourselves.

Amen

So much for the senile old person defense that was bantered around so much earlier in this discussion.

Yeah, his little tv appearances outside his house were designed to make him look like he was clueless. Joe Paterno had lots of knowledge about what was going on. I'm starting to think he's a pretty evil guy.

Is PSU set up like that Sylvester Stallone/Liotta Jersey cop movie? Can't remember the name.
This thing is deeply connected. The deeper it gets, the more you wonder about the DA.

Born in '78, but I'm willing to bet it's Nixonian in reference.

@SPORTSbyBROOKS Sandusky's pet project = Building he designed personally so he could rape children in private. Land from PSU, $3M from PA Governor.

Apparently the school sold him or gave Sandusky land and he was given 3 million from governor who new of charges and Mqueary findings a few years earlier. Dont want to post all the twitter posts but this is basically some of the deeper levels of this
