I pretty much agree with you. I think that Paterno knos more about it though than what you think. If he saw people covering up, he should have quit and spoke up. There is just no way he was completely oblivious to all of this. I can totally believe the newest rumor for the exact reason you stated. That, and I could pretty much believe anything at this point. The only thing about the missing DA is that he did a home search on how to destroy a hard drive, and the hard drive was found apart from laptop, destroyed. Weird case

"Fry"? Who's called him a criminal? I think he fouled up a chance to do something about it yes. But to this point nothing is out that makes him such. That may change in the future or it might not. He is unemployed for a reason and its not for calling the AD about a child being raped in his building.

If it turns out that Curley told the same lie to Paterno, that the incident was investigated and there was no corroborating evidence, then what is your response? While McQueary would know what he saw, why do you expect Paterno to take McQueary's word over Curley's? (Especially if McQueary's report to Paterno was, as Paterno stated, only that there was something that seemed inappropriate)?

I don't know that he had the power to reverse any of that, but if indeed he had the knowledge of what was really going on and had reported to the authorities it would have meant destruction for PSU, which I said is ironic that is exactly what we have anyway. I'm not talking about the incident in the shower, I'm talking about the conspiracy.

Yeah, that's it. Geez, some days its tough to get motivated to do anything. What in the HELL is wrong with our country. Of course, years ago guys like this were taken "outside of town" and never returned. If all of this is true, I'm not sure they can continue their football program, or hell, maybe school. This is just so terrible and I just feel so bad for the innocent kids.

Paterno has lawyered up. His attorney? A man named J. Sedgwick Sollers, whose area of expertise is in criminal defense.

Meanwhile, Penn State is losing sponsors. Sherwin-Williams has withdrawn sponsorship of PSU football press conferences and Nike is not saying word one about the future of their partnership with the Nittany Lions. Cars.com has removed sponsorship of ESPN games involving Penn State. And if the rumors of a pedophile ring involving Sandusky and PSU/Second Mile boosters prove to be true, then they will lose even more.

This is what happens when a head coach and a university protect a sexual predator and show no interest whatsoever in protecting the community and his victims. JoePa might as well have been in those settings with Sandusky. Sandusky was the monster. But Paterno enabled the monster to survive and thrive within the sanctuary of the Penn State campus and the Lasch Building.

Question for you guys: Do you know if FBI is involved or is this a matter just for local police. Reason is I ask is, it would be good to know people with no ties to PSU or people involved are investigating. I am usually not a conspiracy guy, but there's too much involved here. I feel like I'm watching one of those movies where the good guys turn out to be in on the crimes the entire time and you don't know who to trust. I just hope this investigation is led by people who want to find the truth.
