I'm saying that if he had all the details, which I'm not convinced he had, that certainly would have meant doom.

Paterno may have known about the conspiracy, he may have preferred to completely stay out of it. Who knows? How much he knows or didnt know we dont have a clue, but if he had the details of WHY Sandusky was given a package in exchange for something, or why the DA and the cops walked away from this whole thing in 99, that certainly would have been explosive if he had elected to go public with it, but I'm guessing if he knew all this crap, which I dont believe he did, then he would have opted to protect the school.

I say in a month, this situation will be much clearer. As it currently stands, there exists the Grand Jury Report, the statement from the Attorney General, and then heaps of speculation.

Facts will be easier to identify and individuate in a month or two.

If he took kids, victims, out of state doesn't constitute as trafficking or porn? I think law touched on this yesterday. Also, if 2nd mile is covering it up, and they are receiving federal money, then the fed will get more involved.

You haven't been waffling. You just can't grasp that paternos "hand wringing" and distancing himself from knowledge of child raping is the freaking problem. You should be embarrassed that you can't comprehend something so basic.

Definitely. Although IMO the FBI has probably been aware of this for some time and has likely been building a case.

There is more to this than JP everybody knows this. But if he opted for silence given what this is about to protect the school A. It didn't work. B. PSU not being exposed is not worth Sandusky roaming PSU or anywhere else.

Why do you thing the board fired JP?

That is not at all what he is saying. Child abuse, sexual assault, and the like is not a federal offense unless it involves the crossing of state lines, which in Sandusky's case, it very well might. Most times, though, it is a state charge. Child porn more quickly becomes a federal charge because it is often transmitted via the internet, which triggers interstate commerce.
