I'm taking Lawvol's side on this one. I think this specific turn of situation warrants separated discussion.

I think Paterno could be gone after for willful negligence. Even though he reported the situation, he continued to allow the circumstances to remain under which the molestation was taking place. That effectively makes him culpable.
