Read page 16 of the grand jury presentment. Victim 4 relates how Sandusky was upset over a meeting with Paterno that took place in May 1999 where he was told he was not going to be the next head coach and would leave after the 99 season.

Well, well. Look who are on the board of trustees...and yes this is in 2011. Maybe Franco is on the down low also.

Sandusky founded The Second Mile charity in 1977, working with at-risk youths. It now raises and spends several million dollars each year for its programs. Paterno is listed on The Second Mile's website as a member of its honorary board of directors, a group that includes business executives, golfing great Arnold Palmer and several NFL Hall of Famers and coaches, including retired Pittsburgh Steelers stars Jack Ham and Franco Harris.

You must be a public defender or criminal defense lawyer.

Pretty safe to assume that since Sandusky was allowed in Joe Paterno's facility that the two would come together at some point in time over the last 12 years.

If Paterno REALLY disassociated himself from Sandusky, Sandusky would NEVER have been allowed to set one foot in his facility ever again.

He's long since forgotten where he was defending Paterno and saying it was pure speculation that Paterno was aware of anything that was happening. Nothing he says can surprise me now

This is like talking to the wall in the north endzone at Neyland.

My point is this.... I believe that Paterno did everything possible to distance himself from Sandusky after 99. Now one of the facts that we do not have, is who exactly cut the deal from Penn State that allowed Sandusky acccess to school facilities, and was that part of a bigger cover up between the DA, the cops, and school administrators. And since there are no reports of Paterno ever having any contact with Sandusky after his retirement, and particularly not in recent years then I am going to conclude that I am right.

But you guys can go on that just because Sandusky was given access by somebody at the school that he and Paterno were still pals, which is pretty ridiculous.

How do you know that? The friggin DA that investigated and dropped the original charges is MIA (dead/murdered), so unless Paterno is at the center of this conspiracy, somebody else in a position of authority at Penn State cut that deal and nobody knows if Paterno had/has veto powers over that arrangement. Sorry.

I just don't know why Darwinism all of the sudden thinks Paterno would distance himself. According to Darwinism not only did Paterno not know what was going on, Paterno doesn't even know what in the hell pedophilia is.
