The judge should have stepped down and let another judge hear the case
Too much involved to let it go the way of the GOB network
Are you are arguing that the judge should have recused himself from the case, due to his relationship with Sandusky?
They do it all the time for lesser cases. If a judge knows the person personally, then it is the proper action to recluse themselves from the case. Leaves less doubt.
Do you think that Paterno should have recused himself from any internal investigation due to his relationship with Sandusky?
Not the same at all.
Pennsylvania Code of Judicial Conduct:
Canon 2:
A. Judges should respect and comply with the law and should conduct themselves at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.
B. Judges should not allow their family, social, or other relationships to influence their judicial conduct or judgment. They should not lend the prestige of their office to advance the private interests of others; nor should they convey or knowingly permit others to convey the impression that they are in a special position to influence the judge. Judges should not testify voluntarily as a character witness.
Makes you want to speculate that this judge could be part of the story about pimping. I know it may be a stretch, but it makes me wonder on that level.

I'm not buying it. If this were the case, then I doubt he would turn a blind eye to Sandusky still hanging out around the football program with young boys.
