It's a little strange there is more hate to Paterno out there than the molester.

The issue is nobody knows what he really knew or didn't know but himself. The ga who saw it should definitely have done more.

I don't believe for one second Paterno had an idea that this guy was this sexual predator. Again if the gases it abundantly clear what happened and joe pa didn't do Anythjng then that is on him, but nobody will ever really know

Corbett was the AG and people are asking why he didn't put it to the grand jury. His interim replacement took this on so the governor is being accused of being part of the cover up.

I pity Sandusky. I am outraged at Joe Pa, his coaches and PSU Admin for completely dropping the ball and allowing the behavior to continue right under their noses

What I think should happen would be for Corbett to appoint someone that's not from Pennsylvania and is completely impartial to come in and run this this prosecution. That way the little local politics and friendships won't be an issue.

I am just saying I personally don't think joe pa is the villain that he is being portrayed as. It was probably a situation he brought it up to his boss, and it was either never really looked into or the ga changed his story or what. Could he have done more, yes? Clearly it's obvious now more should have been done.

But it's weird nobody is focused on the real monster or the victims here.

If joe pa really did hide stuff he will have to answer to the big guy on that one, I just don't think he would willfully hide a predator

That is exactly what should happen. Also, hopefully the feds indict the scumbag so he would most likely be placed in prison pending trial.

I think everyone's focused on nailing Sandusky and bringing justice for the victims. But ignoring those responsible for the coverup is not the right way to go. Everyone involved should be hammered. That way, you make it clear that this kind of crap won't happen again without everyone involved going to prison.

To handle an investigation relating to why this took years to come out. It desperately needs to be done or a whole lot of people that willingly allowed this to happen will walk with no penalties.

Sandusky will get his, by law, and then by the system. If you don't know about the Aryan Brotherhood, look in to then it. He'll get his one way or another. I know they are in Lewisburg. He's done, we all know that.

The old bastard and the others in the cover up are not getting what they deserve, so far. they may but right now justice has not been served.

It's the part about him telling "a version" of what the GA had told him that bugs me. For example...


GA says to Paterno, "Coach, I don't know how to say this. I just saw Jerry Sandusky having anal sex with a young boy in the showers over at the gym."

Paterno says to AD, "A GA of mine came to me today and told me that he saw Sandusky and one of the kids from 2nd Mile horsing around in the shower."


Maybe not exactly how it happened...could be way off base...but it makes you wonder if the story didn't get altered a bit between Paterno and the AD.
