His quotes pretty much solidified my opinion of him and that he knew the full extent and put the program and avoiding negative press that would come if this got out, ahead of the victim(s). He has been so used to getting his way, but cannot manipulate his way out of this now.

Yeah, only one intelligent student saying Paterno was clearly in the wrong. It was sad.

He needs to stop trying to save face and accept it like a damn man. It's disgusting and my opinion of him goes down every time he's on television.

Exactly. Notice how he never told kids to go home, he encourages it. Then throws out an "pray for the victims". That's like when a coach gets $5 mil a year and after a big win that will enhance his career, he says "it's all about these kids here".

Today he comes out of his house to elicit a response from the students. Half starts the cheer to get the students vocal and riled up again.

He's an idiot.
