It just seems like with the amount of support he's getting - people are just assuming he's the right man for the job.

I have plenty of questions before I throw my support behind him. For example, he complained about and ideologically opposed the government monetary aid - but took it and used it help balance the state budget. Despite that - he' still running a monumental deficit.

Can't he just do what Obama does and blame all the problems on Bush?

it does seem strange that the deficit would be this high if that many jobs were being created.

Texas' tax system may be the screwiest of all of them. Throw in no individual income tax and it kind of makes sense.

Your comment reminds me a little of Palin a few years ago. My friends couldn't figure out why I didn't like her considering I'm conservative.

he a nutty old guy. i can't imagine a worse president. guy has used every public opportunity to talk about gold (including questions to bernake during the congressional hearing) and how it's the only real asset blah blah blah instead of focusing on actual important issues. sane people don't irrationally focus on one thing.

She's great in the role of cheerleader and firing up the base. Hopefully she'll realize she can have a very lucritive career doing this and stop there and not try to do anything else.
