If it comes down to traveling to Knoxville from DC... we may be screwed. I-81 from northern VA to Knoxville is brutal. I used to live in northern VA and it's a horrible drive. I'm so glad I don't have to do that drive any more.

I grew up in Kingsport, and the drive to DC always did seem terrible, not to mention the highway patrol in VA are friggin brutal!

I forget the area it was on I-81, but there was one stretch where it was always full of Highway Patrol... I can't count how many times I was almost pulled over. I'm shuttering thinking about that drive... 2 lanes for 6 of the 8hrs at 55mph... NO THANK YOU!

I agree, I was driving to NH in 2003 and got pulled over just coasting down a hill with tons of other cars going the same speed. The cop came up to my car and told me to get out and he was going to search it because he knew we had been smoking pot and had it in the car!? I was 18 at the time and was as straight laced as could be!! He sat there for about 15 minutes ripping through our car and then afterwards gave me a reckless driving
ticket! ASS!:banghead2:


Anyway, I hope this doesn't deter PW

the kid was a silent commit at one time, when phil was here, so distance must not be that much of an issue. I think he's a vol.

its Pulaski County... they have a judge that throws people in jail over the weekends if you show up to fight the ticket without a local lawyer...no joke
