scouts have him at 6'5 325 and they say he needs to improve on his size? scouts inc is dumb ( tell us some thing we dont know)

"I liked them, they are some good guys and know what they are talking about," he said. "I did talk to Coach Kiffin last night since I had an early flight this morning. I enjoyed talking to him. We talked about other things besides football.

"He's a good guy and he's really changing the culture down there. He's doing some good things and is pretty funny too.

"Overall I enjoyed myself, it was a good visit."

He met friday with some professors and talked academics. Was hosted by Jaques McLendon. He hit it off with Jaq. Jaq talked him how everyone look out for you here at UT and went over the fact he knew no one here when he arrived and everyone embraced him.

Sat took tour of facilities and said they were great and nice. Also did a lil more academics. He was hosted by Donald Langley.

Really like Coach Kiffin. They talked football, believes CLK knows what he is doing and where we are going. Thinks Kiffin is a great guy, and a funny guy.

Overall it was a good visit.

Will wait for a decision still wants to visit Miami.

"I am going to Miami on January 30th, that will be my last visit," he stated. "I've always been a fan of Miami and wanted to be recruited by Miami. I always thought I wanted to play at Miami. I just want to go down and see if that's the right place for me."

Following that visit, White will be ready to announce and even stated he may be ready to decide before Signing Day.

sounds like the Canes, but there is a usually reliable source that is saying he is a silent commit

he doesnt sound negative about ut, in the end I think the distance from home to the u will bring him here

Miami was a school he rooted for as a youngster...but realistically I don't think friends and family want him to be that far away...plus don't forget that Maryland is a player for him...Rex I hope you're right that would be good news.

Well, sounds like he had a good visit. And since he is first worried about academics it is good that McClendon was his host. McClendon is a very smart and well spoken young man. Came from Chatt Baylor...so good choice for host. Just hope that the distance to Mami is too great for him. We really need him.

I'm just glad that Mike Hamilton brought aboard a coach that is pretty funny, instead of our last one who was pretty funny looking.

Heading into the hiring process I was mostly concerned with CLK's ability to crack jokes, now I know we made the right decision.
