Yeah, I have to agree with KBVol on all of this. I think the Patriots win this weekend. Would love to see Manning get to another Super Bowl and the Broncos were my favorite pro team growing up, but Belichick has done so much this year with so little and, while they have stumbled a bit here and there, they've pretty much won every big game they've had. The Broncos are missing their best pass rusher and their best corner. The Chargers had them on the ropes and the Patriots are better than the Chargers, with a similar style of play. Plus, it has to be said, Manning does alot, but he can rarely take it to another level or put the team on his back when it comes time for the postseason. I'll be shocked if the Broncos advance.
Manning owns Brady in the AFC championship game! Brady sucked today - overthrew receivers several times today.
PEYTON > brady

As usual, the winner during their playoff matches had home field advantage. Manning doesn't own Brady, and Brady does not own Manning. They are two great competitors on two great teams. I am proud of Peyton, and happy he can be the first QB to win a Super Bowl for two different teams. But keep it real.
Brady overthrew several receivers that were wide open that could have changed the outcome of the game. He didn't make any plays and their offense was never a factor in this game. He didn't miss those throws under duress, he just plain missed them. He was definitely not up to his standard of QB play. While he didn't throw a bunch of picks, his play was definitely sub-par.Our Volgod is special, no argument. That said, Brady played the same way Manning would if hounded and harassed by a hard charging DL. To the OL's credit, Pey was barely touched throughout the game. You don't give Pey or Tom that much time. Either will kill you, field dress you, grill you with Stubb's barbecue sauce and make you eat it. You can beat the h3ll out of Manning and he'll still put up big passing yards on you. So too will Brady (277 yards), so while I'm happier than happy the Broncs won, Brady didn't suck. He got a taste of what Manning endured when the Pats had the better defense while Pey was in Indiana. He had a defense in his face all day bullying him nearly every play. That is until they went to that prevent defense.
TNnative, is it true that Pey would be the first QB to win a SB on different teams? It makes sense to me only because my memory can't dredge up any information that contradicts it. It's a pleasant surprise to me if true, any source to back up your claim? of course there is--GOOGLE.
