any video available of the games?

My gratuitous Brendan Quinn bash of the day: No, and you won't see any due to the fact that Griffith is no longer covering MBB and The South Philly Faker is (attempting to, at least).

His teammate Josh Selby put up 50 points so weren't too many scoring opportunities for AJ lol

Well good for "just curious"! lol Not haten on the kid, still a little sore he chose Kansas over us.

Great to hear about Pops game tho. If the post about being a hacker is true, I think that is something CCM and Co. can work on. I hope so, because I think we may need him to be able to play 10-15 min some nights.

Great to hear he has a clue on offense tho. Dont threaten us with a good time!!!!

I know it's hard to use these games as a measuring stick for the season...but for those who have seen a number of RTL seasons, how did these freshman compare to other classes in the past?

IMO Thompson just looked smooth and relaxed after the first 10 min or so. Always pass first. Pretty good passes from him. I thought he looked exceptionally well his first game.

Hubbs and Davis looked about like most freshman coming in. A bit nervous. Hubbs looked a bit frustrated also. Davis looked like he will be a solid contributor in about a year. Hubbs needs to play with more aggression. It will be interesting to see what Hubbs looks like in a couple weeks after he's gotten his feet wet a bit.

Well you could tell that Hubbs was frustrated at the very beginning of the game. He's playing on the worst team. He again was one of the taller players on the team like in HS and started the game playing and guarding the post. He went up against Boo Jackson a few times and got schooled. Boo is just way too physical for Hubbs right now.

On offense, it was clear at the beginning that Ryan Westbrooks wanted to show that he was the star of the team. Hubbs would be open calling for the ball and on multiple times Westbrooks waved him off and continuously tried to take the ball himself. No passing from him what so ever. Jacking up bricks. Westbrooks tried saying something to Hubbs during a break in action and Hubbs just walked away from him. During the closing of the 1st half, fans were yelling out to "Pass the ball" and eventually I think he got the point. There were cheers when he finally passed to Hubbs.

Note to Westbrooks: There will be a couple thousand people watching the RTL games and they are all there to see one person. It's not you, so know your roll and pass Hubbs the ball.

Sounds like Westbrooks hasn't changed a bit from when I saw him play at lee.

Agree with this 100%

Thompson was most impressive, but he's definitely benefiting from having josh Richardson on his team, an Armani Moore a should be back soon.

Hubbs is one a bad team, and they don't have any bigs...he's getting matched up against much bigger guys and trying to make him guard boo Jackson was a setup for immediate failure IMO.

Hubbs should benefit from Kenny Hall if he plays at all this year. Both are on the same team. It will keep him out of the post. Hubbs played much better once Westbrooks went out of the game. IMO the coach that drafted Hubbs team should be banned from all future RTL venures. Hubbs will go up against McRae's team Wed. I'm predicting the most lopsided victory in RTL history.

Missed the 1st game again, so not sure how Darius, josh or Armani did.

AJ is looking good in game 2, had a three, fadeaway, dunk, and 1 layup that he took right at boo Jackson...he's got 13 at the half I believe.

This jacka$$ has Hubbs and tonight Lofton on his team and was freaking waving them off, and proceeded to jack up air ball after air ball. Nobody cares about this guy, nobody is here to see him play, he clearly doesn't get it.

Left around halftime, who pulled it out?

Hubbs team, next level?

McRae was fun to watch though, was trying to lead his team back in the 2nd half, finished with 61!

Got close with about 2 minutes left but Lofton drilled back to back dagger 3s.

It was awesome watching Jordy play against Lofton tonight. Lofton still amazes me how good of a shooter he is.
