Plavsic denied by NCAA

Okay there Lenin it’s about a basketball player playing this year, let’s take it easy. Don’t need a revolution comrade.

This is about more than the Plavsic decision. Just the straw. If you're not aware of the reasons, then you're either to young to have known what all the NCAA has/has not done in the past three decades or just haven't been paying attention. Just google NCAA controversy and attach a year to it between say 88 and 19 and you'll see myriad examples of the problems.

Also, I still believe communist/socialist leanings are high treason and should be punished as such. That's not a discussion for a UT bball board, so to keep both of us out of trouble, please don't reference it. Glad to debate the NCAA, not the other.

This means a lot more minutes for Pons. Because ORN will probably be the backup center and Fulkerson will have to play 30 minutes a night

I love Fulky but unfortunately he can't play 30 minutes a night. If he's our primary big, he'll be on the bench at halftime with 3-4 fouls with single digit minutes played.

Isn't this the 2nd time UP had already transferred? Hasn't even played yet iirc.

A double double 2 fouls and 1 to in exhibition. in 20 minutes. 30 easy.

Barnes said the same. At least now they have a better idea how to practice. This news and the early injuries which hampered practice have certainly made Barnes' job this season a lot tougher. These next 2 games will probably be used as teaching sessions which could make us look less impressive than we would have. A little extra fan patience and understanding may be required, early season.
You do realize you’re talking to Vol fans, right?
We don’t have time for patience and what is this “understanding “ thing that you speak of?
GBO!!

Part of me so wants to say, if Will Wade walks onto the sidelines for LSU this season, I would roll Uros right out with the starters at the next game and dare the NCAA to penalize us. However, they would certainly do so and then our program would go back in the crapper.
GBO!!

And y’all keep missing the point about it. That the NCAA doesn’t have special rules about eligibility with transfers or freshmen for higher profile teams. Or that the NCAA is purposefully screwing Tennessee.

No we don’t. We know the difference. The NCAA has been carrying the amateurism flag for years, and it has been the major theme. It’s totally different. They were trying not to cave to anyone on that issue. Not difficult.

Witch Doctor say its nice to have an AD that will stand up and fight and call it for the BS that it is. Witch Doctor skeptical about Fulmer long term but now I think I want him long term!
Go Vols and Fulmer too

Bones Never Lie.

Murfreesboro Oakland 80
Coffee County 6

Honest question , does anyone have a link or something that describes this entire situation? I feel like I should take off my orange sunglasses and look at all the facts. Also, it would be nice to see the exact rules in place that are preventing Plavsic from playing this year.

This gives Fulkerson and Kent and ONR and Pember a chance to get more minutes and this will also give Plavsic a chance to get stronger and we have a legit 7 footer for the 2020 season.
That's if Plavsic doesn't decide to go into some pro league after this decision.

Plavsic should hire an attorney and file discrimination in a federal court. NCAA should be legally required should show why some are eligible and some not. Re: Justin Fields & Tate Martell
