We're already gearing up to leave the small city we're in. We've had double the amount of gun-related assaults and who knows how much more violent crime (much more than double) in the last year. We have city leadership that's run off most of the jobsmakers and doubled business taxes through demanding increases in assessments and rates increases in combination. The same council that pushed that brought in an inept police chief, voted to extend their own terms, effectively cut school budgets while increasing 'social program' budgets, and have spent more time bitching and pontificating on a four-foot tall Robert E. Lee monument and hosting 'gun violence panels' rather than addressing the issues that trigger all this crap in the city. My wife is highly uncomfortable being alone in her business in our relatively well-off neighborhood because the crimes are flooding even over here.

No they didn't. They had a flimsy warrant but not for him. The city has banned this type of warrant and there are constitutional objections in play. She was innocent. They suspected he was involved with drug dealers. No drugs found. BF thought they were intruders.
