Police shooting black man in the back ... again (Kenosha, WI)

SO you believe that choosing to do business with those who are similar to you or share your same values is a negative thing?

I believe that punishing and trying to destroy my fellow Americans because they voted for and support Trump to be a bad thing. If you don't I would say you are not very patriotic and do not support American values.

For instance, I don't hold you in high regard and I would never trash your business or refuse to use your business because our philosophical and political differences. And I say this knowing, because you have made cracks, that you would gladly destroy my business.

I find this to be an interesting dynamic right now. Republicans chastise athletes taking a stance on issues which they deem important. They bemoan the cancel culture while advocating for the boycott of American businesses. They are actively and openly trying to destroy American businesses while claiming all protesters and BLM people are rioters hell bent on destroying American businesses.

Here is the big caveat, violence, destroying businesses and listening to athletes and entertainers is all acceptable when it comes from people supporting this administration. This country needs to have an open and honest dialogue about racism. That begins with people really listening to other side's grievance. Understanding that because you don't see racism that your experiences may not be the same as others. Acknowledging that being rich doesn't completely insulate one from racism, any more than it prevents illness or depression.

I don't think people are miles apart on the race issues. We have come a long way, but that doesn't mean we are done with the heavy lifting. Why hasn't this administration reached out to leaders, influential minorities and held a sit down? It is because our system wants us divided, especially in an election year.

The hard part is for the majority, we are all pretty much in agreement and get along.

The caveat here is this: "That begins with people really listening to other side's grievance"....when most people are actively, in action, living a life free from the action of committing (outright racists in thought and actions committed towards those they are racists against) of any type of, or form, or thing that causes the grievance, they listen and do not truly understand as they are not a participant in the thoughts, beliefs, and actions that form the grievance.

That isn't their daily lives, and it is something that really is hard to understand as the entire train of thought is contrary to their existence.

So, the majority, no matter geography or status or standing, try to understand things they can't because they do not live their lives that way to begin with.

They can see it, but, internally, can't process the thought of being a racist or out right idiot who generalizes groups of people instead of just judging individuals, which is what most of us do.

Reading comprehension is your friend.

I'm saying his words are his and his alone. No one cooks his statements because they don't have to.

My comprehension is just fine, your blabbering drivel however could seriously use some structure, coherent thought and about an interstate highway worth of intelligence.

No, sir. I gave you your time once before, and it was the longest circular narrative ai've seen on here. I'm not conceding to your factual nature because that doesn't exist. You used to be a cop so you are inherently biased. I'm just simply not going to engage with you on that basis along with the fact that, again, we've been here before.
So again, the facts i stated were verified correct facts. I am not biased, I just have a complete understanding of case and criminal law, and police procedures. It is clear on each case, what the circumstances were and everything I have stated has been proved as correct. You don't have to engage to admit defeat, but don't try to call me out when you have facts or logic to back up your disagreement of facts.

Nope. You're a biased ex-cop.

Ends right there.

WTF? The only people "trying destroy" businesses are the ones burning and looting them. These aren't conservatives doing these things.

I know you don't hold me in high regard because you have some weird idea that i'm "racist" with no evidence to back that up, and even though YOU were the one dropping the soft N-word in this thread for no reason. You couldn't trash my business because it's vital and too important to fail.

I don't know where you would think i would "destroy your business" but I have never threatened to come burn it down or anything of the such.

I feel like you project a LOT of your fears, unfounded issues on other posters.

And again, if i don't want to do business with a Planned Parenthood or a gay bar, I don't have to, it's really not that big of a deal and even YOUR business does the same thing

Aww, he mad...I'll be looking forward to future discussions of "how I am biased" because the incident facts, the law, and eventually the resolution of each case (judge, jury, whatever) ALWAYS backs up what i have to say...are they "biased" too?

So, is that what happens in your mind when the cops are fired or charged? Lmao.

Why didn’t anyone bring up the riots during the DNC Convention last week?

it would seem to be the most opportune time to address the issue.

I can't speak for the conventions. I've always found them to be a waste of air and I think the only people watching them have way too much time on their hands.

1. What is the purpose of a boycott other than to cause financial harm to a business?
2. You are racist and it is apparent in your posts. I don't know what the soft n word is.
3. What I am afraid of? You like to project that on any poster that disagrees with you. The simple fact is this, I am not afraid of much and I am seeking to make this country better while you would be content to revisit the days of lynchings.

When you hear the 911 recordings word for word, come back and let me know what happened...you are usually pretty sensible but you want to "lawyer" something that is 100% clear as day... the dispatcher never said "someone" had a warrant, they stated it was Jacob Blake and the officer asked for his description by name. the only information that the dispatcher couldnt get that quickly was the vehicle description.
I’m told it’s a lot easier to refrain from crybaby behavior like this if you don’t try to pass off your assumptions as fact. That way, whenever somebody looks at your source material and says “that’s an assumption, not a fact” it doesn’t feel like a slight to your integrity.

Or you could just ghost and not post any support for your assumptions that were presented as facts, like you’ve done in the past.

If you want to rub my nose in it for saying your assumption is “possible, maybe even likely,” then prove it, or stop crying. Some other dude said the audio had been released and he listened to it. Shouldn’t be too hard.

The Wisconsin DOJ releases both the 911 call and the call to dispatch yesterday. I am very certain I heard in the dispatch call that they identified him as Jacob Blake and that he had active warrants for his arrest.

One would assume that’s why they were trying to detain/arrest him in the first place. If he didn’t have any active warrants the police would’ve treated it as a standard domestic dispute and it more than likely wouldn’t have gone anywhere.
