First, I'm not retarded. Get over yourself. Second, A large portion of one's income is still a large portion. If you made a million dollars, two things: you wouldn't want to give up 500,000. Additionally, you probably don't have the same bills as the guy that makes 20K.

The guy who makes 20K makes 20K because he works for someone else doing a laborious job that involves no self sacrifice to do. However the guy that makes 1 million may went to school for years, put his house and everything he owns up for collateral to start a business etc. Therefore he has money invested where Joe Sixpack has nothing, he can quit and go do the same job at the next gas station or Wal-Mart right down the road. So the guy who makes 1 million cringes at the loss of his 50% too because it is still a large portion of his income.

What the hell do you people not get why would he cringe over CHARITY he gave it away and it takes a certain amount of money just to get by so there is a huge difference between the 2 GIVING 50% of their income to CHARITY.:eek:k:

DAVOL, you're right, the post has creeped. I'm saying that a person losing/giving away a substantial portion of their income is still a substantial chunk. Albeit the guy that makes little money has less physical dollars, and maybe can't as easily afford it, but at the end they are still without "x" percentage of their income.

It really doesn't matter what one makes, the guy who makes a million could owe for a lot more than the guy who makes less. It depends upon the debt that each has, but 50% of one's income still reduces their income by half.

Let's just agree to disagree...

Typically anyone that likes to call others dumb are insecure about their own intelligence. Furthermore, when you call people stupid etc, it shows your lack of intelligence and usually ends up making the entire discussion leave the realm of debating and turn into name calling and smack talking.

I can talk trash with the best of them, but when it comes to a political forum, there really is no place for it. It doesn't help us to understand the "other side" better or to gain perspective from another person's life experiences, which that boils down to complete arrogance and ignorance.

The argument was whether 666 original post made sense that was my argument that it did make sense and tacoma disagreed what do you not get.Oh and by the way noone on here has even remotly seen me get militant I'm not sure what your definition of militant is but it has to be different from mine.And please show me where I attack someone who did not get smart with me first please I'm begging you.:rock:
