I’ve mentioned before that I’ve had supernatural experiences while completely sober and I’ve never done drugs. I don’t expect anyone to believe me when I’ve told them what I witnessed. I also don’t expect anyone to believe what this other guy said happened to him. I do find it interesting that he didn’t claim to go to heaven and see old deceased family and pets, but instead pure evil that scared him badly enough to change his lifestyle and to beg those around him to change theirs as well.

I found the book I mentioned above. I will share some of intro and insights behind the book. I will break it into two posts.

Marcus Bach stated that books are often referred to as brain children, and rightfully so. Not unlike the children of one's flesh and blood, these creative siblings, born by choice or chance are destined to have lives of their own. Their experiences in the world compare favorably to those of any other seminal offering. All of the human emotions are theirs. And no doubt their secret fear is that they may someday be permanently shelved and forgotten.

Unlike other books, I believe that the Holy Spirit has brought this writing into being for time and eternity. The experiences and the message are of utmost importance to the body of Christ. I believe that God's anointing will rest upon this book and minister to every person who reads these contents.

As pastor of Mary Kathryn Baxter, I fully endorse her ministry and this book. I pray that God will give this message wide distribution and that thousands will come to know Christ as Lord and Savior.

Introduction

I recognize that without the supernatural power of the Lord Jesus Christ, this book nor any other which proposes to deal with the afterlife could be written. Jesus alone holds the keys to hell and has paid the price for our entrance to heaven.

I found that writing this book was a long, lonely, demanding experience. In fact, the book has waited several years to be revealed. The revelations from the Lord came to me in 1976. It took eight months to put it on paper. The writing of the manuscript itself covered a period of several years and putting the Scripture references in step-by-step order took another year. Finalizing the book took the best part of the winder of 1982 and the year 1983. In addition, for a period of thirty nights, Jesus took me into hell, followed by ten nights of visits to heaven.

I see now that the Lord was preparing me to write this book when even as a child I had dream about God. After I was born again, I had a very strong love for the lost and wanted to see souls saved.

After the Lord appeared to me in 1976 and told me that I was chosen for a special assignment, He said, "My child, I will manifest myself to you to bring people out of darkness into light. For the Lord God has chosen you for a purpose to write and make a record of the things I will show and tell you.

"I am going to reveal unto you the reality of hell, that many may be saved, many will repent of their evil ways before it is too late.

"Your soul will be taken out of your body, by me, the Lord Jesus Christ, and transmitted into hell and other places that I want you to see. I will also show you visions of heaven and other places and give you many revelations."

I was curious about this as people anointing themselves a special chosen messenger of God is frequently a not very honesty way to make a buck.

TL;dr version is the "Dr." Lowery is no such thing and both she and Lowery made a bunch of money off this book.

Baxter is not Jesus. You must read the bible for yourself. Ultimately it will be up to you where you spend eternity and you don't get the choice on judgment day. I feel like I have some work to do myself.

We all do.

Her story just seems like a very odd choice for God to manifest himself and it always raises suspicions when it turns into a cash cow.

God didn't manifest Himself, Jesus did. I have no problem with them writing and selling the book. Should they have done it for free? There will always be skeptics and cynicism. Pastors always say if they can change but one life. She has done her job. She goes to great lengths to describe how her book came together and backs up the writings with scripture. Maybe it's all made up, maybe it's not. Dave described what he saw in his friend and what he was told by the friend and some are calling it delusional. Some of it is hard to believe unless you know with the Lord, all things are possible. I'm not trying to preach it's just this topic and discussion led to discussions about heaven and hell.

He's not right according to the bible.

The Bible was written by men, edited by men wanting to justify their station and denied to the populace by men who didn’t want their authority challenged.

Do you really believe that if Jes^s said ”to heck with Caesar, keep your money” it would have made it into the Bible?

He’s a KJV only guy.
Hes not interested in what was originally written

Sorry Slice but what was originally written was written by men seeking power.
Potentially.
But if you’re in a belief system don’t you think you should base it on the original premise as opposed to biased faulty assumptions of translators?

There is no hell.
That’s Donte Not the Bible
Christian’s just use that to scare children.

But, I digress
None of it exists. Period.

Religion is the biggest farce in human history, and the cause of nearly every major conflict, whether it was brought up or not.
