Using 25+ innings in a season (which is what Cam got)

The 4 would get 25 minimum.

3/4 were drafted anyways and wouldn’t be back. Who should any of those guys pitched ahead of this past year? You are going to have turnover on any good staff. There’s only so many innings to go around.

Nailed it. And from the inside, so to speak. It's mostly terminology, just like "analytics" are "statistics" rechristened (and of course statistics have grown in sophistication and computing power. Duh).

Everyone will soon be talking about "labs." New words flatter and make people feel cutting edge, especially those who least know but most want to impress. The fundamental research on motion, etc., is not proprietary.

Well, if "labs" becomes a trendy slogan that would be good for us, because last time I checked nobody was particularly enthusiastic about "labs"

Then, if he keeps those pitches, especially the change up, he could indeed be a starter.
Yep has to be consistent though. And the slider and fastball have to remain nasty to play off of
It. Again, that’s why he transferred. He wanted to guarantee he’s a starter the entire year because he wants to show he can do it. It’s the difference between him going too 3 and going top 30, which matters a lot $ wise

It’s a little flawed because if he felt he could perform well as a starter next year (I personally think he will be very good) then you should have nothing to worry about staying at UT, but he had just lost his trust whether that was deserved or not (I personally do not think it was deserved and an overreaction on his part)

Well, if true, then he is betting on himself to be a worthy starting pitcher, which is good to see. But you can be sure the entire incident is one day going to be looked at carefully by MLB teams when they evaluate him for the draft.

However, in 8 minutes, it may not matter because nobody will be around to process the paperwork.
I'm sure it's like the other sports. They just have to have the paperwork in today. It could take a couple of days for the NCAA to officially list them as they process the paperwork, but as long as the paperwork was in, they've met the deadline.

Labs were evil, Professor. Spent many a day walking back at 6:30 pm to Presidential complex after those adventures. Actually, there were some good ones, too.
