Labs were evil, Professor. Spent many a day walking back at 6:30 pm to Presidential complex after those adventures. Actually, there were some good ones, too.

Yeah, when I was a grad student at Texas, we had night labs that ran 6:30-10:30. In fact I used to request to TA labs 2-6 and 6:30-10:30 on the same day to pull off the bandaid. Would race to the student union in between for Taco Bell. 🎻

Wow, makes me not want to complain about my former schedule.

Well, if "labs" becomes a trendy slogan that would be good for us, because last time I checked nobody was particularly enthusiastic about "labs"
My favorite "class" from my schooling, if a lab can be considered a class that is, was my organic chem II lab. We were given an unknown (to us) liquid and powder and had to determine what it was by the end of the semester. It was excellent honestly and I loved it. But it was in the middle of the afternoon and right outside of where everyone on campus hung out when it was nice. So the lab, even being as fun as it was, seemed like jail to this at the time college aged kid, when the weather was perfect and everyone was out having fun.

If you mean the lawn in plain sight from the windows was the preferred bikini sunbathing location and you had to cross through the middle of that to enter the building, that was a blessing and curse for my grad school too. 😂 Truly remarkable.

Cleavage. Voted number one academic distraction….annually.

Glad you enjoyed it! But yes, there are always better things to do, particularly when you are a college student!
