Wonder if Amick is waiting to see what Galanie does with the draft? They both seem to be targeting that 3B spot. Galanie goes in the draft and Amick joins UT. Galanie stays with UT and Amick goes to UF?

Galanie can play Left or Right also. He isnt limited to the infield.

FYI, Eric Cain seems to believe it’s Tennessee or LSU for Luke Holman. Holman has a visit scheduled for Tennessee July 15-16 and that is the only visit right now planned, but one to LSU could pop up. He says it will be a tough pull, but we are positioned well and Drew Beam has worked Holman and developed an extremely close relationship at Team USA that could be an X factor in the recruitment.

It would be an understatement to say keeping him from LSU and having him as our #2 starter behind Beam would be massive. Hope we can close, but you just never can feel confident when you know LSU will drop a bag if they feel like things aren’t trending their way.

I have heard from a couple of different sources the visit to Tennessee was better than the one to Florida. I still think it comes down to one of the three SEC East schools.”

Seriously, if a kid/family listens to one disgruntled person, they are fools anyway. It doesn’t take a genius to look at the situation and realize it was the best decision to move said one to the bullpen where he dominated.

What happened last year, I would say yes, but not knowing everything behind the scenes, is it worth it? Just spitballing here but what if it leads to a disgruntled Burns still here? That doesnt end well, or you fight it and Burns goes somewhere he doesnt want to go. Then its a bad look on Tony and staff.
