KendallR has said coaches haven’t complained as much about this year and I think it’s clear why

tenn won’t be turning in LSU anymore than wofford will be turning us in. All guilty imo

Positive post? Prolly wouldn’t address one way or the other. Upvote and move on. It’s the unsubstantiated nega posts that get under my skin.

This is why I thought the stuff with Tony was dumb and or fans complaining about tampering is. Everyone does it.
He'll, we kind of did with Halverson, there were articles written about him communicating with guys on our team about coming to Knoxville long before he joined.

btw I posted last week we were getting that lefty. I thought we had him. Unfortunately Vandy changed his mind and the burns camp helped with that

I believe after the dust settles from the MLB draft Ryan Galanie will be a Vol.

Reading the articles surrounding his recruitment he has been following Tennessee baseball for sometime. He specifically mentioned Drew's walk off hr against Wright State in 2021. He also spoke to Griffin Merritt several times before picking Tennessee over Texas and Louisville.

At age 23 odds are stacked against him making the show. For example, Jonathan India 2021 NL ROY was drafted number 5 in the first round of the MLB 2018 draft after being selected SEC player of the year. After playing at Florida it still took him three years to get to the show. He was only 24 when selected ROY.

SOCON 2021 player of the year Colin Davis played four years for Wofford and was only 22 years old when drafted but was not selected until the 7th round. Davis' offensive numbers were comparable to Galanie's.

Of course I wish Ryan Galanie the best of luck as he follows his dream.

I think he back tracked after Amick slowed it down, but who knows. You can disagree with me but “high-profile” does not fit Ryan Galanie, IMO. If he did mean Galanie from the start, he should choose his words more carefully.

You and I agree on the “high profile” line but after his tweet about him being a real draft prospect and a “superstar” that tells me KR thinks he’s bigtime

I don’t know. Felt more like Kendall course correcting to make himself look right when things didn’t turn out how he expected. Galanie isn’t a “superstar”. He might not even get drafted in the first 10 rounds. Feels a bit overkill to call him a “superstar” which at least to me tells me that he’s using that terminology to try and make it fit with the “high-profile” line he used on Friday. Not that it matters though ultimately.

That is a dude that might not even make it to campus because he could get drafted high enough to go ahead and sign. That seems pretty high profile. 🤷

who knows. I like KR a lot so I doubt he’s playing games to backtrack and make himself sound better but you might be right

I think he genuinely thinks the guy is a superstar
