Why is no one mentioning Nate Spillman as a possible transfer? Has he played a snap in 2 years? That’s a scholarship we could use on production.
I know he’s Edwin’s brother, but Elijah Herring transferred and it didn’t affect Caleb. You’d think he’d want to go somewhere he can play.
True. But my last sentence is what I was getting at. You’d think the kid would want to go somewhere and play.Elijah left on his own volition. We took Nate’s commitment just to land his brother. If we nudge Nate out the door, we risk losing Edwin.
The NCAA is probably going to abolish walk ons soon at the FBS level to crack down on teams doing thatTrue. But my last sentence is what I was getting at. You’d think the kid would want to go somewhere and play.
If he’s just hanging around to be with his brother with no real ambition of playing, switch him to an NIL “scholarship” and free up a real scholarship.
Leacock gets some hype but just can't stay healthy. Webb and Nimrod are merely serviceable. We need more than that. Not a single one of those am I upset over. Recruiting mid guys at that spot doesn't work. We are Tennessee. I expect either better evaluations relative to what we want to do, or getting higher rated guys. We have it all.
No excuses.
...As the #1 RB. Because he was. As you admitted in all caps...he was the # THREE RB. That's not an opinion, so it's nothing we can disagree on.No I don’t. We disagree on him being unproven.
i don't want to bag on the kid, but i think he's totally replaceable. one i'm curious to see what happens is Staley. hate to hear that about Leacock...really thought he could be a Tillman type receiver....maybe still will be?Nimrod could be the only one I see staying just cause he’s gotten more PT than the other 2 but I wouldn’t mind upgrading over CN either.
Let me make this simple for you where you might be able to understand....As the #1 RB. Because he was. As you admitted in all caps...he was the # THREE RB. That's not an opinion, so it's nothing we can disagree on.
I'll try to make this easy for you...if someone has never done something, he's never proven it. It really is that simple. He'd never been the #1 RB. He had, by your own admission, been the #3 RB. Therefore, he was unproven as the #1 RB because he'd never done it. If you don't understand by now, it's because you don't want to.
