Loved watching him play. I can still vividly remember some of John Ward's calls regarding Stanley.

True. About the only one that really surprised me, as I've posted previously, was Jayson Jenkins off the DL. With the number of cats we're already losing off the DL, I think we will miss him. Played really well for us. Now, Heupel and this staff may see that differently, but I just thought that's some nice depth and a potential starter gone.

Keeping current roster should be priority #1.

Yep. Good articke. Stupid ending though. We aren't going to the playoffs next season...and thats OK. Bet the Vegas over/under for wins is 8 next year. Might be 7.5...i think 8 though. We are gonna be young on the Oline, at LB, EXTREMELY young and inexperienced at WR, and young in spots on the defensive line. Likely young at Safety too. Next year is a "reloading/learning year". 2026 will be another run at the playoffs IMO.

We return both LB starters who will be juniors and have a good amount of experience coming back on DL.

No way will it be 7.5 IMO.

The only one you could argue is probably Baron. But I think it was more of a value issue. We had solid depth at his spot, so his value to us was less than it was to Miami
