IIRC Bru had to sit out a year when he was at USC for transferring from Texas. Pretty sure I remember reading that the NCAA gave him back that year a few months ago. I know I adjusted Bru's eligibility in my files after reading the article. So he wouldn't need a waiver for an extra year.. he already received approval for another year if he wanted it. I just think Bru was ready to move on when he declared for the senior bowl.On what grounds? He is literally out of eligibility and didn’t attend juco so idk what you are talking about.
Where is this being reported? It would be odd to play in the senior bowl while trying to get another year. What will he even base his appeal on? He had to appeal last year just to get this season…which was a 6th season. He’s appealing for another year. It’s not guaranteed he’ll get it but the option is it here.
I mean, Webb was a top 50 WR in every ranking except ESPN...Leacock was a top 25 WR in every service and 4 star by all....gotta be a little worried that Pope couldn't develop them enough to get on the field ahead of Nimrod or injured guys.
Leacock to me is the big one, Pope was his Primary and this was his 2nd year in the system.
He went to the UCLA-Oregon game during the first bye week in LA. Guess who played for UCLA this part season? His brother. He did go to South Beach during the second bye week but not to visit the U.yeah I don’t buy this. I really don’t see how Nico could’ve visited Oregon and Miami “during the season” and nobody except for this guy seems to have heard about it.
Those two programs have unquestionably tampered with Nico. I think that’s clear as air. But this rumor makes zero sense

This is not popular for those in the coach's corner, but I agree. No reason to pay that money for a guy who you likely plan to have for 3 years at hest, and then watch him collect cobwebs on the sideline. And when you do play him it's to be a blocker. Just a waste.Smh it’s criminal how little we got Matthew’s on the field. I don’t care what the excuse was. He had the type of tenacity that warranted a designed play.
I don’t Care if he didn’t know the entire playbook, get him 3-5 plays and let those be his.
It’s like saying Jamal Lewis should t play as a freshman bc he didn’t know all the protections smh smh smh
