Nah. He was an ok reciever. We need better.
He went to the UCLA-Oregon game during the first bye week in LA. Guess who played for UCLA this part season? His brother. He did go to South Beach during the second bye week but not to visit the U.
He introduced 12 personnel but seemed to not want to stick with it. In any formation, though, more motion and misdirection is neededYeah but he did, with 12 personnel. Literally never did that before. The problem was moreso the players in my opinion, but his scheme is worse when the players can't execute.
We still had players wide open all over the place.
The odds that the university of Tennessee goes another year with a bad receiving core are slim. They were also hurt.
Improve o-line and WR's. That's all we have to do.
Levis literally got selected in the first pick of the 2nd round. Obviously he was a terrible pick, but the physical talent is pretty clear.Let me guess, Melissa Kyper? Will Levis was projected as a 1st rounder too.
Edit: autocorrect changed it to Melissa. I'm leaving it.
As someone who has negotiated multi million dollar deals for 30 plus years this is not an uncommon negotiating tactic, especially when someone feels like they have all the leverage. Wait until the last minute when the other party has little time to negotiate or find an alternative and basically hold a gun too their head. Is it unethical? Yes. Is it illegal? No. I would surmise this was the strategy of a slimy agent but don’t know for sure. Tennessee will have to decide how it wants to respond. If it were me I would let him walk as I don’t like being held hostage. It’s also why I would be a horrible college coach.Last bitching about Matthews deal.
Was this unexpected? Or could it have been prevented? Would having an 'unbiased' GM who handles financial matters help? At some point, we need to realize coaches have a ton on them. Admin assistants exist to let business people do, what business people do.
Nico went to UCLA game against Oregon. Obviously he went home for the bye week and Madden was committed to UCLA at the time.A couple of things, Does that actually mean he went from Coral Gables to Eugene and visited w/ coaches and the campus? If that did happen, how would one keep that quiet?
