Is Thomas coming back from injury next year or is he done? If he is he would probably be our starting safety but we still need depth especially in the secondary. Imo, you can't ever have enough pieces in the defensive backfield.

I am telling you Clement from WVU would be a pretty good pick up. The kid has good hands unlike # 84, across the middle no problem, takes a shot unlike #3 and pretty good wheels. Sophomore too

Should be back. Still need another safety imo. No idea what they do with Boo either next year. If you’re getting him on the field on offense how many snaps do you give him on offense and defense. Do you actually give him a chance to field punts or move him so far back that he has no chance at a return?

Absolutely agree, 100%!!When he first went in the portal I said he was definitely someone I'd like to see us go after. He is a Dawg!! Not afraid of contact. And has excellent hands and speed. Good route runner. I had just watched their bowl game(W.Va) and he was phenomenal. I immediately thought if he were to transfer I'd like to see our Vols get him. Would be a huge addition and difference maker. Imo, he doesn't seem like a guy who would cost an arm and a leg to get neither. Hope we look at him and get him in for a visit. Would rather have him over the other portal receivers currently entered.

No, I agree. Boo plays Star if I'm not mistaken. And Thomas can play safety. I really hate that Harrison left though. I thought he was one that we should have tried to keep. He has the DNA and would have improved next year, imo. Hate we lost him. But we need depth. Who else do we have to play Star and Safety besides the incoming freshmen?

It’s been all but said by AP, insiders (if you believe those exist), etc.

Just hasn’t been announced yet. Maybe still finalizing. But they aren’t gonna let him leave. They don’t let guys leave that they *really* want to keep.

Well that takes a little less stress off my shoulders!! Thanks for the info. Still would like to see it become "Official." But I do believe you are right, though. This new way of cfb is absolutely gonna shorten my lifespan by several years!! Thank you NCAA!! I'm sure my wife will appreciate it! Lol!!

You’d think if the SEC champs want him then he’s gotta be a decent coach. Our receivers block very well and have a lot less drops than some teams. I’m not sure pope is as bad as some people make him out to be. It’s easy to blame assistant coaches when this may really be an issue of NIL and an offense that takes a bit to learn because of reads.

Now it could be pope I’m not sold on him but anyone acting like they know for certain is probably over confident.

Just not that large - not that many folks live in ND. Might have changed recently, but Fargo is the only recognizable name city I’ve ever flown into that didn’t any terminals. Planes parked on the runway and you had to walk over to the airport building.
