Why are you only looking at portal players? I'd be looking at any teams, playoffs or bowl teams and identify players you like. Id go after them hard. Best case you pick up a player you like, worst case you sow dissent and cause your rivals to spend more money on their current rosters. Turn about is fair play.

I added the best WRs from each team. I just didn’t add the playoff teams….mostly because I don’t have the confidence we would poach someone good from those teams.

If Matthews returns, he's on one side with Brazzell on the other. Staley and Boo can split reps in the slot. So we have our starters. The only real concern with the WR room is depth if someone gets hurt. Not sure anyone wants to come to be "depth", so we may just have to rely on the freshmen.

If Matthews returns, he's on one side with Brazzell on the other. Staley and Boo can split reps in the slot. So we have our starters. The only real concern with the WR room is depth if someone gets hurt. Not sure anyone wants to come to be "depth", so we may just have to rely on the freshmen.

I was thinking the same thing but Staley as the #2 guy at slot and an elite guy from the portal as the starter

Then use Boo on certain packages.

I’d try to use Boo as often as possible. He’s got a chance to score every time he’s got the ball

Expect Ethan Davis to be much more involved in the passing game and is a guy they can motion in and out of the backfield. Kitselman will still be a really good threat as a more traditional TE. Freshman TE Brame might also be an option they explore at WR since he's extremely athletic for his size and could be more of a big receiver when he comes in. I think they're expecting Smith to be ready to contribute at WR as well. I think they'll be ok. It'll be a youth movement, but that worked out really well at CB.

Man come on already and either be a VOL or transfer!! I know it's not even been a full 24 hours but when ur a true fan of Volnation it seems like minutes are hours and hours are days!! Don't get me wrong, I want MM to stay. But I'm impatient as no other and the possibility of him not staying and the indecisiveness is driving me crazy!!! Sorry guys. I know I'm not the only one, but I hate all of this new way of college football. It's really taking a lot from the sport as opposed to how things used to be. Money is definitely the root of all evil. Sorry coaching is a close 2nd!!
