I wouldn’t be upset if Bru came back, but I think it’s time for a reset of the WR room. He definitely could bring some maturity and leadership to the room, but I think with how much our WR room underachieved last year, I’d like to just see some new blood.

It really depends on how much of his ability he can recover. This year, he was much slower, and was tentative with cuts. Full strength Bru is a big asset. Not sure if he’ll return to that, ever. Hope so though.

Yeah, I want to be clear, I’m not knocking Bru. I think he is a fantastic leader and one of the toughest players to ever wear Orange. But he hasn’t been the same player he was in 2022, and if he can’t recover that I’m not sure how much of an asset he can truly be on the field.

There were times this year I would go through stretches during a game and forget he was even on the team.

Was looking forward to a fresh look on the WR room. His presence would be great, but I’d hope he would take a back seat to the young guys or transition to a Fant-like role.

PS. UT had 3 5* WRs on the roster and several 4* WRs. Nimrod was the only 3* to get a lot of 1st team PT. So BOTH UT and OSU had "stars" in their WR rooms. If it mattered like you think... performance would have been MUCH closer.

I love Bru but at some point you just gotta hang it up and move on. With the tight roster situation and the need to develop talent, I am not sure he is worth keeping. I would be happy to be wrong as he is a true VFL.

I'm just ready to see how the portal shakes out. Tomorrow night, another team's season will end. And again, on Friday night. Hoping Texas finds a way to pull off the upset on Friday night. Nothing to do with "SEC pride". I just want OSU's season over so we can see if they lose any of that good talent to the portal.

I think Tate is a pipe dream.

He will be WR2 next year in that offense and be able to shine with everyone focusing on Smith so much.

Hope he keeps it under 2.5 marijuanas to prevent an overdose.

McCoy, Thornton, and Matthews. And quite obviously... they didn't. Talent is talent is talent.... whether some journalist slaps "stars" on it or not.

We don’t have room for a back seat WR. If he can’t make a difference, he should sell real estate.
